An economist, a journalist, a governor of the Bank of Italy and president of the Italian Republic, Luigi Einaudi had a deep passion for the land. He bought his rst farm in 1909, and in 1915 established a cellar to produce and bottle wine. This exhibition illustrates Einaudi’s ‘bookish love’ of viticulture and includes examples of his correspondence with his land agents, which reveal just how much care he devoted to developing his vineyards.
